Welcome, NolaGrit!

...and sorry for the delay in adding your site to the blogroll. My server got absolutely slammed by comment-spam attacks, so I had to install a bunch more MT-plugin countermeasures.

Anyway, welcome to NolaGrit, a tv-reporter who has entered the blogosphere. Good stuff!

Re-did the blogroll...

I installed MT-Blogroll today and added all of the New Orleans blogs I follow with NewzCrawler. MT-Blogroll was more of a pain in the butt to install than it should have been, since two of the scripts had absolute references pointing to an E: drive to find perl. I guess the guy forgot that UNIX/Linux people have servers with MySQL/php on them...

Anyway, please spread the word about this site. I'll work on some small advert icons for nola-blogs.com.

About NOLA-blogs

When I first started YatPundit, I noticed a site called nolablogs.com. I went to the site and tried to add YatPundit to their blogroll. After a month or two, it was clear that the owners had abandoned the site. I contacted the domain's owner and was told they were going to resurrect the site. Since there was no change in the site for another eight months or so, I decided to get nola dash blogs dot com.

Originally the site was static, just a little something I threw together with NetObjects Fusion. Starting today, the site is powered by Movable Type.
